Gulliver's Travel is a Tamil movie that was released in 2009, approximately 10 years ago. Gulliver's Travels is the tale of a naïve man who travels to various lands on Earth with some specific goals in mind. Along the way he encounters strange people, cultures, and food. The film would be interesting for anyone looking for some fun entertainment with some adventure punch to it or who are interested in different cultures and customs from abroad. Gulliver's Travels Movie Review Gulliver's Travels is a great movie for kids due to its lack of violence and language. The movie was not violent at all and there were no inappropriate scenes that could negatively impact a young person. There is very little dialogue in the movie as it is full of exaggerated reactions and pantomime from the characters so it would be good for those who have trouble understanding native English speakers. The film had an array of visual special effects that were cleanly done with no obvious shortcuts taken. This showed that the actors and crew put a lot of effort into their work so they were able to create believable characters. The set designs for the movie were very well done. The movie was filmed in several locations abroad all over the world, both indoors and outdoors, like mountains, forests, boats, and historical castles. Gulliver's Travels Official Trailer Gulliver's Travels is also noteworthy for certain cultural aspects of Indian cinema; an example would be how Hindu gods are portrayed in this film. The main character Gulliver often sees statues of Hindu gods throughout his travels like Shiva (in India), Brahma (in Africa), Vishnu (in Japan) and Shivaji (in England). The director of the movie, S. Shankar has a personal connection to India and understands Hindu culture, which is why he opted to include a few of his favorite Hindu gods into this film. Gulliver's Travels Intro Gulliver's Travels is a great starter for those who are interested in movies, foreign movies, travel movies or historical movies. The movie has no foul language or violence but it does have some fantasy elements which make it less relatable to children under the age of 13. This film is worth watching with members of your family as everyone will enjoy it differently and have different opinions on things that went on in the movie. Watching the film is not time consuming either so you do not have to worry about ending up bored. It would be good to see Gulliver's Travels on a large screen in HD with surround sound because it is clear that the creators intended it to be viewed like this, but of course you can still view the movie online if these viewing conditions are not available to you. Overall, I give Gulliver's Travels 6 out of 10 stars; I recommend this film for anyone interested in watching it. cfa1e77820
